I'm starting up a new thread. After 7+ exchanges of my mogul and 3 exchanges of my HTC Touch pro, I went in again and they sent me a HTC Touch Pro 2. I went in there Friday and it was at my door today.
When I went there, the manager looked up my records and noticed that I had 6 phones in 6 months. The HTC Touch Pro 2 is band new. So happy.

now, I hope that the phone keeps up until I can get a droid-like phone on sprint. Also, I hope that sprint springs the 6.5 ROM soon. I tried to download the winmo 6.5 ROM from HTC's site, but it wouldn't let me cause sprint doesn't support it yet.

ok, this phone is pretty cool.. but...
Every single Txt I get sometimes goes through the Touch Flo 3D's Messages panel. To get to the TXt queue, it takes 10-20 seconds. Then to get to the reply page it takes.. well... I just put the phone down and come back a while later.

the messaging window kills this phone. sucks... idk why. maybe the 12k txts i have saved? it is cool that IE has flash built in for youtubes, but it no longer fits right in the screen. must fix that.

Rev, I've been trying to get my TP1 exchanged for a TP2 pretty much since I got the phone. I've had 2 phone swaps and the other 3 times I went to the store, they replaced components on the phone (but they don't consider this as a phone replacement, so I haven't reached the 3 phone-exchange policy yet). I'm coming up on the end of my contract soon so with any luck, there will be some decent choices this holiday season. I'm running 6.5 with SPB Mobile Shell, it kicks a ton of ass but the phone still fucks itself every so often.
You tried flashing something off PPC-Geeks? Mighty ROM maybe?

I was about to load mightrom and I've been using spb mobile shell for a while. I've also been outside my plan for almost a year now. None of the phones make me want them. I was going to drool over winmo7, but no copy and paste is a deal breaker. sprint is looking into getting more android and less (or no) winmo. I want sprint to get a droid comparable phone. If they did have one with android 2.0, I would probably me on it right now.

I would have thought that Sense would have facebook integration since that's been in Mobile Shell for a while now. Same goes for a task manager on an HTC phone, but that might have been nixed with the later WinMo builds (I don't have it on mine anymore as a dropdown menu but I can open up a task manager). For gmail, why don't you just set that up in your pocket outlook? The only deterrent for me on the TP2 is lack of an LED, I use that as a flashlight a lot. And lol@simcity 2k.

i know where the task manager was. now it's gone. the integration in spb with fb sucks. i want a stream nnot just my last update.
another thing that is weird is the sizing of things in PIE. this text that im typing is tiny, but the page text is huge.

oh and gmail through outlook sucks since it only shows the inbox and not all mail, and when you set up with their smtp server, it aways comes through with your gmail addy and not whever addy you were replying with.
