Great overall line-up and with only three bands, maybe they're gonna have a couple local openers??? With the right local bands, this could be a fucking awesome show. Maybe some Hivesmasher? Dysentary? Composted? Sexcrement?

if they can garauntee they'll only play tunes off of Healing Process, I'll be stoked. regardless, I'm down with seeing MI since I've missed them the last few times they've been around.
my inner jerk also wants to collect flat brims all night.

the modern ills of man was a really good album too, the drums on that CD were really focused, insane, and technical. never bothered to listen to their new one tho

Do yourself a favor and listen to both Retaliate and Discordia. Traitors is good but you'll think it's for pussies when you hear those two.

I like the songs from Empire better, more guitar oriented. I feel like there are more "moments" on the first album.

Honestly, I think Discordia is their weakest release, mainly because of production, but the songs aren't as memorable either. The Dissent EP and split with Commit Suicide are way more intense and more well written than Discordia. Retaliate is probably my favorite, but Traitors (as well as the new one) definitely holds up very well when compared to Retaliate.

Backed 120%.

I have to agree that Discordia is my least favorite album of theirs. Every time I listen to Retaliate, it's like the first time I heard it--love that album. Drum tracks on Dissent are flippin' nutzo.

Good tour is good. I like Misery Index but I have to say that once I listened to them and then listened to Retribution from Malevolent Creation and I couldn't tell the difference except for the vox. Weird.

honestly tho as a drummer, for some albums thats literally all i am concerned with, whether or not the drums are fucking crazy, i do agree that they started doing chug riffs just so they could show off their flat brim hats tho haha, its why i never bothered to check out their latest release. Alexandre Pelletier is a fucking beast, he plays with marching band sticks, and on that album in my opinion it was a bit different, still close to their older stuff but a little more focused and not as sporadic
