For example, my bows do like 30 damage even when I improve them, but my maces currently do close to 100 damage each. And my 1 handed is still relatively low - it levels SLOW when you one hit everything. :( |

When youre under lvl35, giants are good for leveling up your character. As long as they dont toss you into space. |

I need to raise my destruction skill. For now, Elder dragons just keep raping me. I have about 20,000G worth of stuff to sell but I can't even set foot in Riverwood. Aril - I'm level 37 or 38 right now. My ranged is waaaay behind. I never use a bow, and rarely use my destruction spells. |

Those mercs you can hire in Inns etc, are they the same as Lydia? like they last until they die or do they only last for a few days or something? |

Large Negro Kitty addressed it above. You need to go to the bar in um... Winterhold I believe. There is a mage there who will transport you into the star to defeat the dude who bound his soul to it. Once you kill him, you have a reusable soul gem. You could also take it to the shrine of azura but you already killed them. Only human souls will fill the gem since you can only go to the guy in winterhold. |
