Plus I got kicked out towards the end of Mayhem's set by a big, black bouncer for yanking down the banner; I sneaked back in 2 mins later and was able to get another bracelet for the rest of the fest from some kid whos friend didn't show up. Aces. Highlights: TWO Bolt Thrower sets Absu D666 Aura Noir (KILLED! I never thought I'd get a chance to see this band) also seeing tons of old friends, meeting tons of new people and honestly having the best metal weekend since Party San (Germany) a few summers back. Bummers: waiting for an hour for a Bolt Thrower shirt and getting stuck with a gay, one-color baseball style shirt that they clearly had printed up in Blatimore the night before due to them selling out the previous night. |
