______________________________________ [Jul 11,2008 9:58pm - ArrowHeadNLI ""] http://www.rondomusic.com/product1990.html [img] $150. If I were a righty, I'd buy one. Godlessrob just bought one for a family member and said he's really impressed with it. Just throwing it out there. |

_______________________________________ [Jul 11,2008 10:58pm - ........... ""] how are those douglas guitars? i looked on ebay and they have some decent looking les paul knock offs...and best of all they're cheap as hell... do these things play good or what? |
_______________________________________ [Jul 11,2008 11:03pm - ArrowHeadNLI ""] Douglas is the mid range. Sx are the cheapos, and the Agiles are the higher quality ones. I have this one: [img] It plays like a dream. I replaced the PUPS, and had to clear a little bit of wood out of the cavity that was blocking the trem a bit. Now, it plays as good as any of my other guitars. The only other changes I made were cosmetic. I also just ordered one of these: [img] Don't know if it's a great guitar yet, but for $99 I had to buy it. |
_______________________________________ [Jul 11,2008 11:12pm - ........... ""] shit...i think i might have to get one of these! that v looks pretty good for $99! do they have em with an all black paint job? |

_______________________________ [Jul 12,2008 9:04am - Hoser ""] I'd want to get at least $300 for it. If I ebay it I'm gonna ask $350-$400 with the case and the EMG 81. |
__________________________________ [Jul 12,2008 9:06am - powerkok ""] Ill give you 300 and whatever it costs to ship it with the case. Prolly like 40-50 I would think, but fig it out, and lemme know. Pm me yer address and Ill send you a postal money order monday, pal. |

__________________________________ [Jul 12,2008 9:15am - powerkok ""] Arrow, how are the floyds on those Agiles? I was intrigued by those as well, for a learning family member, |
_______________________________________ [Jul 12,2008 10:18am - ArrowHeadNLI ""] The floyd is good, but the routing was a little craptastic on mine. It wouldn't pull up or float right, so i had to trim a little wood away with my dremel. It wasn't a tough fix, and now it is the best feeling floyd I have. Only other issue is that the trem arm got a tiny bit loose in the slot, so I threw a piece of teflon tape on there and now it's fine. For what they cost, these guitars are pretty awesome. For a learner, they're amazing. |
_____________________________________ [Jul 12,2008 10:22am - GodlessRob ""] I have to say that I am impressed with that guitar. FOR THE MONEY nothing out there is going to touch it. I would say that it is on par with the 5-600$ schecters and the mid range LTDs (which I have both, so I am not talking out my ass!) I got the guitar yesterday, spent 20 min tuning and intonating it (not that my nephew had any idea what the fuck I was doing and yes I explained what I was doing.). I plugged it in and it fucking ripped, I was shocked. It's neck through, the neck is fatter than my Jackson, the frets don't buzz, and it's got a decent acoustic tone. The only thing I would change if it were mine would be to put an EMG 81 in it. I say that only because I have been using 81's since 1987. Other than that, for the money, it's truly one hell of a guitar. Joey, what kind of guitar are you looking for and how much do you want to spend? I have something for sale, but it's very much the type of guitar you'd have to BE INTO to want. |

What's with you and EMGs? With the interceptors you get EMGs on the best couple models (in the $600 range) or you get crappy no-name pickups. |

Just protect me from Lady Di. She'll want to kill me for selling you a guitar. But, I guess this would make up for me selling my one of a kind Camo Warlock on you. |

I finally found the fucking thing. If you still want it, send me your address, and with God as my witness, I will send it to you. "I want my 2 dollars!!!!!" hahahahahaha |
____________________________________ [Jul 12,2008 11:20am - Nicc nli ""] haha, nah, i sold that guitar like 2 weeks after I bought it from you. it's just funny to still give you some shit for the cavity cover. |

_______________________________ [Jul 12,2008 12:19pm - blue ""] SX is a line a part of the rondo family, basically their introductory models. I have an EX jazz bass, very solid for the 160 bucks i paid for it, although the neck isnt that hot. but then again, its a 4 string neck and i have a 5 string set on it tuned all assy. hah. the OLPs are liscenced music man knockoffs. great guitars for the money as well. though be warned the quality control is all over the place, so definetly play before you buy. i played 3 different olps (same model) and 2 of them were worthless and one was an absolute gem. |
___________________________________ [Jul 12,2008 12:25pm - powerkok ""] cool, thanks. I went to a GC down here and asked the guitar guy how the OLP 4 string bass compared to the Ibanez, and got this as a response: "Oh, it compares, mayan." |
_______________________________________ [Jul 12,2008 12:37pm - ArrowHeadNLI ""] Agile is the rondo house brand. Sx is actually a whole independent line. They sell them in europe as well. The Douglass guitars are built by Saein guitars (pronounced "shine"). Agiles are 100% rondo's, so you can actually custom order anything you want from them. SO far I have a brice bass, an agile guitar, have a douglass on the way, bought an SX for my nephew, and got an SX for an employee. They've all come fast, cheap, and they're nice guitars. |
_______________________________ [Jul 12,2008 12:47pm - blue ""] RONDO ALL UP IN YER INTERNETZ |
_________________________________ [Jul 12,2008 2:00pm - Martins ""] There must be other companies that sell wicked cheap guitars that aren't pieces of shit, though...right? I'm looking to drop maybe 200 at the end of the summer so I can have a guitar to keep in E standard for my rock ensemble at school while I try and build another one on the weekend. |

______________________________________ [Jul 13,2008 4:22pm - ArrowHeadNLI ""] yeah, I've been posting on the Agile forums since Blue turned me on to Rondo. sadly, that natural finish I posted is already sold out, but they have some black ones left. |
_________________________________ [Jul 13,2008 4:43pm - Martins ""] FUCK! I wanted to get that natural one so bad. Do you think he'll have some more up soon? |
______________________________ [Jul 13,2008 5:05pm - blue ""] rondo does a lot of guitars in small runs. sometimes youll see returning models, sometimes you wont. that one i could see them doing another run of them. |
______________________________________ [Jul 13,2008 6:48pm - ArrowHeadNLI ""] since he sold out in a few DAYS, it's likely he'll order more. However, he only really gets around 4 shipments a year, so it may be a while before he gets more. once he gets a shipmwnt, he seems to only put out a few at a time, so he might well have a few more he's waiting to put out. |
__________________________________ [Jul 13,2008 9:32pm - brian_dc ""] these guitars are so cheap I feel like I should just buy an Agile baritone just for the fuck of it |

_______________________________________ [Jul 14,2008 10:15am - ArrowHeadNLI ""] With Rondo, make sure you hit that new items page often. He is known to post new shit a few guitars at a time throughout the week. That's how you catch the good guitars like that spad. Those got posted on Wed, and were sold out by the weekend. |
_______________________________________ [Jul 14,2008 10:17am - ArrowHeadNLI ""] DUDE, HAUL ASS! http://www.rondomusic.com/product1990.html He posted more natty spads! |

_______________________________________ [Jul 14,2008 11:15am - ArrowHeadNLI ""] My next is likely going to be a custom order. I want one of these, but lefty, and with different inlays. I might make some slight hardware changes too, but I think it looks great the way it is. [img] |
__________________________________ [Jul 14,2008 11:21am - Martins ""] That looks pretty fucking nice. I even like the headstock. I think I might stick with watching Rondo for a while now. At least, while I'm saving up for my eventual Parker. |
