If they can't win with this lineup, they never will win at all. It's that simple. I like the way Kevin Millar put it: "I think we got five outs better from last years team." The Yankees looked shakey against the Twins of all teams. The Sox went 11-8 against them this year, a record that could have very, VERY easily been 13-6. Regular season games don't matter in the post season, but I REALLY like our chances this year. This is the worst team the Yankees have sent to the playoffs in the last 10 years, and their pitching staff is VERY suspect. I hope the Sox do it. Should have been last year, but who cares about the past. It's all about the here and now... |
