fuckin a, i forgot a couple more...

decrypt-their split with stump is fucking awesome; one of the most high energy bands that i've only heard a small handful of people talk about. i think they broke up for a little while but are back, with the old drummer from mutilated i believe.

epoch of unlight-i think the only time i've ever seen their name mentioned was in the armageddon shop's recent arrivals thread from last night. what will be has been is a damn good album

i am glad we are on the same page, mr. gillis. i have a broad spectrum of musical taste, and both diabolical masquerade and green carnation tickle my fancy oh so delicately.

it's all relative as far as RAOV and any other band being "underrated"

maybe he thinks that because we have yet to get signed after however many years.

what will be has been is a classic. i used to listen to that album constantly back when it came out. i was listening to caught in the unlight a couple weeks ago too. i always wondered why they never got more popular.

i bet if epoch of unlight were a new band around this time, they'd get a lot more exposure since they fit in with bands like psyrcroptic, gorod, spawn of possession, and other technical death metal bands, even if they don't sound exactly like them.

septic flesh is sick!!!

how about construcdead? that band is fucking amazing. i think they just got automatically lumped together with all of the monotonous melodic death metal bands coming out left and right for a few years. construcdead are probably one of the best melodic death metal bands and they need more recognition; i don't even know if they're still a band, but the album "repent" is a fucking classic

speaking of die my will, every time i go into newbury comics, their split w/ piecemeal is always on sale for like 3 dollars and there are like 10 copies in each store. i had to search high and low to get a copy of that years ago. bastards. now i want to listen to it. and i shall.

Well, they are now because of their new album. It's amazing. People are finally recognizing them.

Are they the same as Rorschach Test? Same band I mean.

Probably not. Rorschach reminds me of a more punk sounding Converge.

Converge has said that Rorschach was a big influence on their music.

Yeah, last I remember their website had Rorschach, Born Against, Starkweather, The Accused, and one more I can't remember as influences. All solid stuff right there.

Integrity is also a big influence on Converge's music.

under appreciated bands= every band I ever played in.

I guess it was the stage show.
I'll be the first to admit that the midgets and miniature Stone Henge was a bit self-indulgent to say the least. All bad taste aside, I thought the music was all there maaaaannnnn.
