They all played good... although i didn't get there early enough for In The Shit, Psytoxia fucking killed. Grizlock is a pretty scary dude on stage. Splitter was really energetic, the "compo-crew" went silly with big (6ft) Styrofoam-e tubes. Those guys really went full speed the entire time; Good long set too. Composted was awesome. The Surf-slam wave was fun to ride, the real time samples were stunning (MFR) and the antics (ie. hair getting stuck in tuners..which i believe they planned) were entertaining. All in all, their set was a performance as a whole as opposed to individual songs. It was nice. And that new sexy bass player was a perfect fit. Dysentery... what can i say? I wanna punch someone every tiem i see them play... I don't because i'm old, stoned, and lame, but i certainly want to. Real heavy, NO equipment malfunctions, and it was a real good night for eric. His drumming was tight, and swinging. Loved it. |
