_____________________________________ [Nov 9,2005 9:08pm - the_reverend ""] sorry tboner.. heuristic, the: two new members. I was surprised when mark was't behind the kit, but I remember that he had to step down for the last tour and all. also, josh(desperado) is out too? this wasn't the best set of theirs I've seen. they are probably still working out the bugs. with that said, they still played better and more intense sets which should show you how good them are normally. the new guitar player really got into the set which was cool to see on the first show of theirs that I caught. lords: some of their parts were too "rock" for me, but over all it was layer in a nice sludgey sound that kept my interest. I know now why everyone finds thier music so hard to define. the bass-player was weird and kept turning away each time my camera came out near him. too bad too cause the lighting in there was cool and I could get some good shots. I tried to keep the flash up and out of his eyes, but he ducked the camera. ed gein: this is the first time I got to see them since the new CD came out. I've been listening to that CD for a long time now. knowing the tracks and seeing it makes it so much better. you wouldn't belive who intense they are live until you actually see them.at one point during their set, I was head banging to a song and I felt sometingbrush by me. it was ade falling on all the guitarist's pedals. seets like the moshers in this tiny place pushed him over into the pedals. there was like 3 or 4 people on top of him too. they ended their set with te nirvanna cover from the new CD. it ruled cause the crowd took over the mic and fougt over it. it made for some cool pictures in tis small place as you can see. |
