| _______________________________ [Dec 31,2006 8:39am - aeser ""] this thread is funny. ok of course karl marx was jewish, but to say that jews are by default leftist is to completely ignore the state of israel, which has been ruled by hard-right wing fascists since day 1. yes there are left leaning jews, there are also a goddamn lot of right-wing/conservative jews, this is the problem with racism, no race's people are all %100 the same, yes stereotypes typically do exist for a reason, but to ever assume if you are X race then you have Y ideological attributes is dumb as fuck. it's also funny to see you all still under 50's-80's anti-communist propaganda, as in the very idea of communism means it is nessesary to live in an anti-communist state where you have a total lack of freedom and liberty. a true marxist communist state has NEVER EXISTED, everything you compare it to (namely soviet union, china, korea, cuba, etc.) was a gross perversion of the original ideas of marx. and so yes of course "communism" where and how it has been applied in the world has failed, and capitalism is quick on it's heals to fail as well, neither ideas are perfect and when people abuse either system badly enough the entire system fails. it's not that capitalism is better than communism, it's just different. instead of the state controlling everything, you have corporations controlling everything. think either one has YOUR best interests at heart? the problem is ultimately human nature. people are fucked and always predisposed to corruption whenever granted so much power, they will inevitably sell the people out for their own gain. THIS is the problem, not "communism" or "capitalism", either would work fine if people were just on the level, but since they're not, neither works. |
