Rampant Decay had some technical problems at first but seriously killed it. Definitely a band I make sure to never miss when they play in town. |

I'm used to bands asking for more time, not jumping off stage with time to spare. still, they shredded. Magic Circle dropping off was a bummer. Ilsa was also pretty bummer. I have the LP and like it, had high hopes but man they were a sloppy fucking mess. |

The lead singer had no presence, and two of the guys just turned their backs to face their amps, so you couldn't see what they were doing. The guitarist on the right in the yellow shirt was facing forward, and I could tell what he was up to -- and I suspected that they could be a decent band -- so on an impulse I bought their LP. It is good. Too bad they didn't pull that off live. |
