Theory like biology or english is a way of building a strong foundation so that you can be a functional tool for self expression. Do you think dream theater, meshuggah, dillinger and cynic would be half of the bands they are without their years in such a "binding" study. There is no point in picking on kids for spending time shaping their art, in any case, because there are just as many diven talented musicians who know nothing about theory as there are musicians who do. So get back to getting this band a bassist. |

When did you start listening to metal anyway, 2 years ago? I'll bet. And what fucking band are you in, kid? Seriously, we want to hear your amazing theory at work.
