*this is wildly off topic - stimulated by the prospect of "[hanging] out in PVD more", but every time I've played in PVD the kids have this "we're more creative than you" or "you're not one of us" elitist attitude. One time HTLCiP played, and I was singing DIRECTLY in someone's face, inbetween the person and who they were talking to, and they just kept on talking like I wasn't even there.
Then there was the time Aganihm played the Box O Knives and this fucking dick head guy that lived upstairs had a shirt on with "Alpha Lamda Delta" written on it. I asked him if he was a member and he was like, "Dude, stop bothering me, I'm not gonna suck your dick!" then proceeded to pick a fight with some other kid there.
AND there's also the time there was fucking like 19 fires floating in the river. I asked people what was happening and they were like "Firewater" or something and I was like "No shit, I see fire on the water, but what the fuck is it all about?" and 4 different people, at different times when I asked, just ignore me after that point.
so my experiences with RI have been pretty wretched so far.
