My point is that we need to stop blaming the guns and start taking care of the root of the problem. Guns are a fucking tool, that is all. Hammers and knives are a tool. Fucking lasers are a tool. Swords are a tool. They are inanimate objects. Humans can think and reason. If we started putting all violent criminals to death, and stopped letting lawyers run this country, your murder rates would drop significantly. Unless it's a douchebag's drumset. I actually agree with you in that high-crime, low-income housing areas are the cause of the problem. Factor in unemployment, gangs, high birth rates, and poor education systems and you have an entire society full of people that need to take care of their own, just like you're saying.
