Well it is officially happening! Get ready because this is going to be one sick 2 day fest!
It's going to be held at the Worcester QVCC, Friday and Saturday November 9th-10th. Doors will be at 4pm show starts promptly at 4:30pm.

i hate going to that show and hearing the same riff 500 times throughout the day to see 3 maybe 4 bands i really like.

are you guys looking for a variety of bands or are you looking to make this more of a hardcore show? i could point you in the direction of some decent worcester bands you might not have heard of that could draw a shit-ton of kids to a show like this

I wouldn't say that! I am working on getting some good bands in here. There will be plenty of people both days. If not maybe I can mix genre's so metal kids can get into fights with hardcore kids that throw spin kicks haha.

the key is promoting to the right people
back in april i did a death metal show there, and went to a couple shows a few weeks beforehand down there to hand out flyers(hardcore shows)
2 kids showed up from that endeavor haha

umm negative...if my memory serves me correctly that was early april
this show was cannae, godless rising, goreality, us, end it all, absence of the sun, and coffin birth
aside from trying to promote at hardcore shows, i also made the mistake of booking only one band from the worcester area haha
and got cannae like 5 days before the show, so any draw they would've had wasn't in full effect

ME TOO!! but i agree that you should mix up the bands on each day. i personally would rather see a show with a bunch of different bands than bunch of bands in the same vein one day and a bunch of bands that sound exactly the same the next day. if its mixed in it will be more fun. plus most kids these days like some of both and its a better way for bands to play to a crowd they wouldnt usually play for, which is kind of the point of a fest. just my opinion though, either way is fine with me

Thats a great point there. I said I was "thinking" about doing it one hardcore day and one metal day, but you never know really. Last one we mixed it up and it went well. Maybe we will do the same.

I am trying not to book too many bands yet. I wanted you guys from the second I planned verything out. I want all the bands i asked to get back to me, and I need to wait on the booking agency's to get back to me. If I need them though I will definitly let you know! Thanks
