[QUOTE="the_reverend:132512"]random acts of violence: they were awesome, imho, as they always are. great guys and the perfect local band to start up this show. I got there about 5 minutes into their set cause I figured the show started at 9pm. the crowd was about 1/6 there so not as many people got to see them as should have. I must warn people though, to see raov is to have their songs stuck in your head for days. looose monkey; not really my thing. they were rock-oriented metal (aka "loud rock"). I looked at their set-list before they came out and though they might just be a cover band, but they only played one cover, war-pigs. I also think that's andy dick on guitar. bad karma: a lot more interesting, they were a 3 piece. the cool thing was that the guitarist only had one arm and played better than 99% of the people out there. some how he just played the frets and that did it all. I'm still a little in awe at how he was able to do that. triphammer: I over heard the singer saying his hair took him 1 1/2 hr. weird... they were decent power-ish metal. for most of their set, I thought to myself that they sounded a lot like iron maiden and then they busted out amaiden cover which completed the circle. wargasm: their set was everything that I knew it would be. unbelievably tight, tons of songs, and funny faces. they started off with a video montage, but the projector wasn't full screen (I think all you had to do was double click the video). they played so many songs. the crowd was full of people that were old-school die-hard fans most who's been waiting for a dacade for the local kings to come back. none of those more out going that jim ash (to whom they dedicated a song to and who had a big bonnah the whole time).
