i dont know about you but i hated my voting experience. i was all set to go behind a curtain and pull a lever and to my dismay i had to fill out a paper. it felt like taking the sat's. to make matters worse at the location i went to they did not check id's. i was handed my paper and escorted to a booth that was litterally made of cardboard and spray painted silver. wanna talk about privacy? i had my mother behind me telling me who to vote for and she kept shoving a paper in my face that had all the candidates names on it and the ones i should vote for highlighted. plus random people would walk behind and whisper you know who to vote for right. wtf??? then my mother was telling other people who to vote for and passing along her little cheat sheet. when i finally made it over to deliver my ballot --- people were glancing over to make sure i marked the right candidate and smiling at me for acknowledgement.

it felt like i had no control at all. and if i did pick bush i would've been lynched by everyone there and the person putting the noose around my neck would've been my mother.

i just wish there was more privacy!

my voting experience was smooth as hell. i can't figure out how they can't get every state to have the same voting process. (example, i voted on an electronic machine, yet many places still use paper ballots)

the computer voting system is hightly flawed. in many states it keeps no hard copy of your vote, and any hacker with moderate skill can hijack the system.

small town usa rules. i walked in, my moderator person was my neighbor, gave me my form and we chatted briefly about puppies and pie. in and out no more than 7 minutes. i even gave a "how are yah" to the detail cop.
