Remembering others…..[views:4001][posts:10]___________________________________ [Dec 23,2004 10:50am - ram_girl ""] Is there someone you will miss seeing this holiday? I won’t be seeing my mother for this Christmas for the 1st time ever this year and it just really hit me last night. She passed away in September at a young age (59 to me is young). I wasn’t very close to her and we had a difficult relationship, but last night I realized that I won’t ever have the chance to say or do things I should have…. So, I started this thread for those who may have someone they will miss or wish they could see….. |

Every Christmas for years I always looked forward to seeing her and my Grandfather for the holidays. She just seemed to embrace it better than anyone else I know. She passed away 5 years ago last week. Her Birthday would have been yesterday. So I guess Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Grandma!! |

____________________________________ [Dec 23,2004 2:52pm - MyDeadDoll ""] i miss a lot of people in my family which has become significantly smaller in the last few years. i used to look forward to visiting all my grandmas' houses and seeing people i hadn't seen in years and wierd aunts telling me i look just like my mom... it just isn't the same without a gynormous family. my family is still big, but not as big as it used to be. |
