I was late and missed perils of reasoning, sorry. chuck brunswick: was the first band playing the show when I got there. I thought Nick was playing bass for them, but I guess I was wrong. The singer was from another band that I've seen before I forget where that was or what band that was. Every single nerve: when I saw Joebu last night at the Palladium, I almost asked him if they were going to play tonight. Well the answer was yes because they did play, obviously. Their songs had a lot more random guitar riffage in them. But the sound was way too low on the lead guitar and then when the rest came in, it got turned up way too loud. For some reason not to many people danced around for them. Which happened to most of the other bands too. It seemed that night like there wasn't that much energy in the place, with that said they played pretty well. The bass player from scurvy was filling in for them or maybe he is the new bass player I don't really know. Locked in a vacancy: Man, these guys get more and more metal every single time I see them. I swear, one of these times, they are going to come out with a giant Eddie doll and just shred massive wailing riffs for an hour and a half. Their new tracks are really killer, but of course kids didn't know them so they didn't really dance to the new songs. I for one can't wait for the new cd they are recording in April. Of course the tracks they played off their old album, people knew, so they sang along and danced to them. Hopefully, these guys will play on return to the pit after they record their new CD. What weapons bring war: scheduled to play live on return to the pit June 6. Rick War’s vocals started off sounding bad I think it was because he spent too much time at the bar and too little time checking the mic! Sort of like a squawking vulture. After a song or so, everything worked itself out and they sounded really good. Kids even started moving around for them. They had a new bass player. Kyle, who I think was friends with held hostage, was down from main playing bass for them. The red chord: yeah, this was their first show since August. Sort of their coming back show since recording their CD and also getting a new drummer. I think Guy, the singer, was a little disappointed seeing no one really moving for the first few bands. As soon as they started off with two old tracks, the room went off. Kids mobbed the MIC, trying to sing along. TRC played a mix of old tracks and new tracks, plus, all of the "new" tracks that they have been a playing for a while now. The new drummer was able to play all of the old tracks, but he's not as techy as the old drummers. His style comes out in the new tracks. I'm wondering if they compressed the drums. The new track that they have released online, from what Guy said on stage, has not been it received well by the public. Live, it is the only new track they played that sounded like that. Maybe it was not the best track to release early, but I assure you, the rest of the tracks killed live. Gunface sang a lot more on the new tracks too. Beyond the sixth seal fans will be happy.
