[QUOTE="the%20reverend%20nli:264197"]This was my first time to this venue. The lighting here is pretty cool. There is ample fog. Tons of videos playing on giant TV screens. But the sound is super muddy in the room. On the plus side, I think danny loker's brother runs the sound. I also can totally understand a bunch of [band=screams_of_erida] pictures that bruce bettis took now from this venue. To band who want to play this club, bring a DVD that you want played behind you. [Band=life_in_vain]: pretty hard to hear. They had 3 guitar players, but I could really pick out why they needed more than two. The music seemed sort of close to out lamb of god, but the trumming was different and there were more guitar riffs that sound like morbid angel. [Band=perils_of_reasoning]: at first, their sound was terrible and weak. After 2 or 3 songs, they started to have a lot more fun on stage. Also, that's when the sound came togehter. They were funny on stage, asking for "more brutal smoke" (though I think they now owe [band=shoot_to_kill] some $$ for that line). They played the song from the RTTP comp and then had plenty of time left so they broke into a partial cover of 99 luftballoons (99 red balloons) by nena (also covered by 7 second). [/QUOTE]
