[QUOTE="the_reverend:272930"][band=eye_of_the_sun]: musically, they were very good. they were doomy with some more melodic guitar work with the 2 guitarist playing off each other and some old school sabbathy riffs. the only think I wasn't too crazy about were the hatfield-esque vocals. they also just got a keyboard player who played for the first 2 and the last song. from out side, I heard the first 2 songs and I think those might have been the best 2. [band=hellblock6]: these guys rocked pretty hard. it was completely sparce on the vocals, but the rest of it was thick with music. for some reason, I couldn't hear the guitar most of the time. that meant that the majority of the sound was streaming out of the bass. a lot of the sounds that came from the guitar were "weird" noises. chirps and pops and other noises. So a lot of the times it was just the drums+bass making up the majority of the music. [band=deadbird]: wow, this band is going to do awesome in PVD tomorrow night. they sound lot like high on fire and swarm of the lotus mixed together. Actually, now that I think about it, it came out a lot like noosebomb. that last song they played was 10 minutes of bliss. [band=adolf_satan]: this is like my 30th time seeing them in a week. I thought the guitars sounded the best they ever did. Why? josh was using deadbird's guitar cab. Made it sound killer. Also, larry was completely sober for their set... I was sort of taken back, but from what happened the last time they played deedees... I can understand why he wouls stay sober. Mark kevorkian (who has given up on the internet) what the official set list for them tonight.[/QUOTE]
