So I hadda look through 6 decades of school yearbooks today for a project. And I was surprised to see how many people either gave a "shoud out" or listed WARGASM as one of their favorite bands.

One guy, Ted Ostrander, (who sounds real familiar) even mentioned Maniac. Wasn't that Wargasm's first name?

I guess it's not too weird seeing they are from my hometown, but still pretty rad.

Ted is my brother-in-law now. While he was in school, I was dating his older sister; she's now my wife of ten years.

Go back to '82 and you'll see me, Rich and Barry in there. We all went to Stoughton High.

i used to work with Matt(i think) Ostrander. He was a copy tech for about a year in 98, how's he doing? I remember him mentioning being related somehow to Wargasm.

He's Ted's younger brother, and therefore, also my brother in-law. He's doing great.

I remember Ted Ostrander. His sister Rachel was in my grade. Also, I went to HS with Barry. I was a freshman while he was a senior. That's, like, back in the Gulf War days.

Are you talking about the senior prank? I think I know what you're talking about.

yessir! It was crazy. The entire school flipped out. The worst part was that they locked all the bathrooms for a few weeks except for the ones on A1st, right next to the office. made it kinda hard to smoke...

oh yeah, sorry...for anyone that's interested:
one fine morning some young smokers had the pleasure of going into the bathroom and finding a cow's head sitting in a urinal, complete with bandana and cigarette. You can imagine the broo-ha-ha that would cause in a public school. Police, news, the administration conducting McCarthy-esque inquiries, etc. if you were a metal head, everyone thought you did it. if you were a known smoker, you "knew something."
and the best part...he got away with it. (no, it wasn't me)

Haha yup I heard about that. I didn't know it was made into such a big deal though. The senior pranks have gone severely downhill.
