| ______________________________________ [Oct 4,2005 12:45pm - the_reverend ""] just had a root canal. it was on the top. the first root canal I had, I got 5 shots of regular novacaine and then a shot (that they needed the other 5 shots to numb you up enough to take) which they pushed/crunched straight down into you jawbone. this time, it was on the top back. they only gave me 2 shots of regular old novacaine. they were digging around there with the nerve and I could feel everything. I wish there was a mirror so I could have seen it. regardless, I sure could feel it in the backs of my eyes. honestly, it "hurt" quite a bit. but it was a really odd form of pain since they were dealing right with the rootd of a large tooth. it was like you body trying to tell you that some one is doing something they shouldn't be inside you body. |
