I was surprised at the turn out too. you would think that people would have better things to do on a rainy tuesday that go to another not comon monopoly show. [band=exhumed]: this is the like the 4230823 line up I've seen with them. every single time, it's matt with some other people around him. leon's been there with him on tour for a while so he's almost a fixture of the band. he looked like he was going to boot for most of their set. the new drummer was pretty good. I didn't really focus on him though. the new guitar player is the guitar player from the now defunct band known as Uphill Battle (you may remember three tours ago that the drummer from Uphill Battle ruled the drums for exhumed). he fit in pretty well, sporting the standard issue "gore" guitar. I can see him possibly staying with exhumed. This line up is definitely a more subdued set than all the others. there are no drum solo. no puke. no fire. no bloody skulls. If you want that stuff, I guess you have to go see impaled. their set did rule, but it was from the music and their playing abilities, not from the showmanship out side of that. their set was like 30 minutes long. I was hoping for some more of the tracks off platters of splatter, but I guess that was probably the lst tour.
