Rights should never be forfeit. Don't get me wrong, what these guys did is atrocious to say the least, and I completely agree with you that "fair trials" aren't really "fair" anymore because of judicial bias, money-hungry lawyers, and just downright overall curruption. But everyone needs to be tried. We can't strip people of rights no matter what; the maintainence of our constitutional rights are the only things on which the fate of our country now appears to be hinged.
