[QUOTE="the_reverend:350361"][band=screams_of_erida]: going from stages that are too small for all of them to a stage that is just way too big for them. they thankfully didn't have any "incidents" with each other's instruments. they started right off with american terrorist which I don't think they've done any of the other times that I've seen them. they promised a new CD. [band=if_hope_dies]: the crowd here was a lot better than the crowd at the show in CT. there were actually a lot of people dancing around in the crowd. their set started off rocky. part of unearth's rig and lights fell during the first few minutes. this stopped them and caused a whole lot of people up on that stage trying to fix it. the sound guy also refused to stop their sample. the rest of their set was shortened cause of this. [band=since_the_flood]: I haven't seen them in way too long. Dave had to sit out of the european tour, but it's good to see him back with them. this was the band that started off the stage diving. or course the regulars in the crowd were rough as usual. I swear that half my pictures of their set have dave in the air. on the stage, the sound was terrible. there was nothing coming out of the monitors and then when there was it was too much and there was a bunch of feedback. once I moved to the floor, the sound was much better. [band=unearth]: the crowd got even wilder. they started with bang, ken susi ran out and hugged the crowd. and then raced back to play. this show had a lot of the staged antics from the cabot st. show. they had the flashing light, the huge spot lights, and the fake cabs. all the power drain from the lights was their undoing in the middle of the set. it was just too much for the power line they were on. so the power went out for like 10 minutes. during this time, the stage was graced by a break dancing bruce and lee soe's balls. when the power came back on, they continued. at one point, they paused and everyone took a drink from a whiskey bottle that dimebag darrel and his lady gave them about a year ago. this being the eve of his shooting, it was completely fitting. for their last song, kids rushed the stage. it happened right when buzz and ken flipped their fake cabs down. a lot of the pictures that I took in the end were from on the crowded stage. it was kind of pandamonium and then the power was cut... again. this time, I'm not sure if it was intentional or not. but one of the last things I saw before the lights going out was buz putting his guitar through the ceiling.[/QUOTE]
