I have a part I'm working on in a song where I've got a very specific guitar sound in mind. I've tried everything however, and cannot figure out how to create it. The best example I have is pretty gay, and I doubt many of you will know it. I think it's Blondie, that "one way or another I'm gonna get ya" song. In the middle there's a breakdown with a cool little guitar lick, with the exact sound I'm looking for. Jimi Hendrix had a similar tone in a lot of his solos too, but in all honesty I can't think of a single example right now. So, is there anyone who knows what I'm talking about and how to get it? Sorry my examples are so shitty, I'll try to find some samples later. |
