Thanks to everyone who came out-up-down to the middle of nowhere Cape Cod to catch this show; Thanks to the other bands for getting the crowd off their asses before we played; Thanks to The Reverend for another batch of A+ quality pics; Thanks to the crowd for singing along especially during the lines I'd forgotten(!); and a last quick Thanks to Lou Cataldo who filled in for us on Drums at the last minute after not playing with us for 14 years! So there is/was life on the Cape afterall. I at least hope that everyone left having gotten what they hoped for! Thanks again! Clif Hanger THE FREEZE null

wow, there were so many kids there. Most of them really young dropped off by their parents who will probably never see these pictures with themselves in them. I was expecting all familar faces from brockton/south shore, but it wasn't. There were a few people I recognized from the last freeze show, but mostly new faces and they were all here supporting a nice punk scene.

nothing lasts forever: damn, I wasn't really thinking about what the bands opening for the freeze, but this band was good. Punk on the oi! Side, but with some emotional-breakdown-hardcore (like outbreak). people moved around for them and there were a few brave souls singing along.

kids of karnage: they were good too. Punk-hardcore. I could definitely see these guys playing a show with righteous jams or something. Some of their music sounded a little posi. The singer asked who saw blood for blood last week. What a great world when people are still mentioning that show. Damn that was a good show. Their second to last song was no redeming social values tattoo so a lot of people sang along for with them. Actually, they last song too. they have a record coming out, but I didn't hear the details.

49 in 0 : I swear I've seen them before somewhere related to the facted they are from brockton. . They reminded me of b4b a bit, but mostly like madball. I think they even ended with a madball cover.

freeze, the: so I'm about 5 years too young to have really been a fan of their first peak (i was 5 when they started). But I know enough from being around before taang! Records moved out west to know that when the freeze plays you don't miss them. They are still playing just like they used to and te kids? All the same age as they were when this band started. It would amazing me who the crowd seems to always be young kids at their shows and how they all seems to know the music. the show was a bunch of sweaty, smelly kids mostly with rediculous hair jumping all over each other. Their setlist looked as long as it was the last time, but the set seemed really short. There were also like 10 video cameras and 2 real cameras there. Media freakin circus. they played some new songs which sound decent. the guitarist was the same guy from last time. he had to use notes on the floor.

on an unrelated taang! note. when I went to boston for the first time by myself, I walked around a corner and found myelf in taang! records. I bought a LARD tape.
on my first trip to LA 10 years later, I walked down an alley and bang! I was in taang! records again.. wierd...

on the way to this show, I was thinking about the best show ever if I could make it.
Fear
the queers (with bface and joe king)
the freeze
jerry's kids
the bruisers

that would be the best show ever.
clif, next show you do, think about getting jeff's (ex. bruisers) new band death & taxes.

feud? I don't remember that. I think they are both old enough to not care about that any more. anyhow, image if this show went down at the rat.. geez...
the last rat show I went to, some kid got his teeth pushed through his lips.
