| ________________________________________________ [May 5,2006 2:04am - josh fucking hates you ""] deconformity - i missed them. face full of shotgun -might of been 50 people in the room at this point. had the drummer of zircon. i think they are new cause they messed up a bit. i did not like the singer. he was ok at best. the bass player was a total metalcore kid who didn't seem to fit in the band. decent bassist though. the guitar player with the long hair shredded. first 2 songs where metalcore. then and instrumental, then 2 more songs with more metal and less core. zircon - 35 people maybe. metal. some black, some death mostly good. the non singing guitar player seemed to have technical difficulties at one point, switched guitars and was rocking out again. they should play with coffin birth again. gutwrench - um......no. 13 people including soundguy, bartender and band. the bass player/singer had a six string bass but i think he only used the top 2 strings. drummer had a wicked nice set. couldn't really play that well. at least they didn't fuck up their songs. the bass player had issues with sound and they where down to just guitar drums and vox. 2 drunk kids where passing time moshing or something like it. Ralph's is a pretty cool club and I guess the first Thursday of every month will be a metal show. Maybe if fuckers start going it could be every thursday. |
