Oh, and girls two-stepping. That's painfully big too. Personally I think it's the most boring thing ever to watch a bunch of nurlers and ugly girls all lineup and show off their "twostepping". It's like watching Riverdance to me. But nobody asked me. Then again watching a bunch of uncoordinated 19 year old knobs try to do spinkicks and carthweels got old too. I think anyone who's gone to hardcore shows in NYC (Queens especially), Pennsylvania, and Jersey might have a little more appreciation for """side moshing""". It's not so much about imitating, and looking cool there, some of the stuff I've seen kids do is insane. One of the best shows I've ever seen was in NYC last year. It was an all day show and kids were going berzerk all day long, doing flips over railings into people, diving off the bar, it was out of control. You literally weren't "safe" standing anywhere but outside, or in the bathroom. Everybody got hit at least once (I went down during the 2nd band) and there weren't any fights. It was totally fun, and terrifying at the same time and if you got hit you got hit. I don't see anything wrong with having fun. |
