The price has gone down. I bought WoW for $20, you can buy it for $30 at GameStop. You would be playing WoW MORE than enough to justify the $15/month. Think of it this way...you play $50 for a new Final Fantasy game and it lasts 30, maybe 40 hours. You'll play WoW for 30 hours/WEEK and only be paying $15/month. Not to mention WoW is the type of game that you could play exclusively, saving yourself any money you'd spend on any other games, for months. Because it is that addictive. I have friends that bought WoW and have not bought another game over two years except maybe Oblivion. That's a lot of savings compared to blowing $200/month on games. Not that I plan to stop buying other games, I always will for the different experiences, but for most people who only buy a few games per year, WoW is certainly worth the money. It's obviously fun enough that a million or more people have been paying monthly for it since 2004... You would LOVE WoW, Mark, and even if you only played for 3 months, got to level 60 and quit, that would be a total of $50-60 for 100s of hours with a fun experience (less $$$ than a metalfest which is over in less than a weekend). Ask Matt hahaha. He lived that game for a year or more, he may STILL be living the game for all I know. Guild Wars might not have a monthly charge, however that is deceptive. You're looking at $80-100 for GW and GW: Factions expansion, you could buy WoW, which is a better game, and play it for 3-5 months for the same price.
