why is it all these shitty bands insist on having a billion pictures of themselves doing everything BUT playing a show? What am I supposed to do, sit here and say "Wow, this band's definently got the look down, they MUST be good". fuck that garbage. if a band's gonna put pictures of themselves on their site it should be live shots of the singer swinging a mic and some kids face and the guitarist puking.
and whats with shitty show pictures in general? every kid with a camera takes pictures at shows but 99% of them aren't even worth taking. People would take pics of my band at a show, and we'd jump off speakers, throw up, throw guitars at people and have all this action in our set and we'd end up with 100 pictures of us tuning guitars, scratching our asses, and generally just standing around. Oh, sorry guys the sound check was just so awsome that i used up the whole roll.
kids, bands, everyone.....lets all get a clue. a picture is worth a thousand words ,don't let all thousand of them be "DUHHHHH". Nobody cares about your watching your band put on makeup. Nobody cares about what spooky poses you can do. Nobody wants to see photo after photo of the same stupid people in the same stupid stances doign absolutely nothing. Shows are chaos, and the pictures should capture that chaos, not show us what a great job the band did tuning their instruments. Rev i think you should teach a class on show photography 101.
