[QUOTE="the_reverend:521787"][band=GRAVEHEART]: these dudes look a lot like blistered earth. I figured that they would sound like BE, but they didn't. Well, except their covers of some BE songs. The vocals were a lot different. Nothing like the old metallica vocals. They even started with synths and represented the scythes through their whole set and beyond. [band=EXTINCTION_AGENDA]: they are the future of metal. Or atleast they would if most the members weren't billed as the future of metal in their other band from the 90's. I kid. but these guys do rip it out oldschool trash like nobody's business. Back then, it wasn't all about blast beats and BREEEEEEE vocals. People now-a-days are shocked when you can understand what people are saying.. [band=REVOCATION]: everyone in the bar moved up to the stage when they started. For some reason, I didn't get very good pictures of them. The lighting at the skybar is always so harsh that I guess I gave up during their set and just enjoyed the show. They don't play cryptic warning songs anymore so their set seems short. This world needs more songs about zombies and the interaction between having sex vs making love with them.[/QUOTE]
