I love books, but I don't all bitchy like half the fan boys when a director comes out with his take on the work, after all a director is an artist and not a scientist who seeks to clone paper onto film. It really urks me to see all the comments on any of the Lovecraft trailers on youtube "wahhhh wahh Lovecraft wouldn't have sex in the film!!" You'd get a giggle reading some of them. |

The best Lovecraftian film adaptations are contained on the DVD collections of the Lovecraft Film Festival entries. |

It is a perfect example of what filmakers shoud do with Lovecraft. This is the silent B+W movie with musical score. Not the color film with Tori Spelling. It was made by the Lovecraft Historical Society. Get this. Get it now. It is fucking great. |
