Harkins said:
Bottom line is that this show brought "Metal" kids and "Hardcore" kids together. Which if you have taken algebra II means.... Metal kids + Hardcore kids = Internet Drama. "Metal" kids go to a show and enjoy the music by hanging out with friends and rocking to the music. Occasionally they will dance and swing their fists. Then you have the "Hardcore" kids. They go to a show and also hang out with their friends. Then once a band (that they support) starts to play, they will smash people..... That is the way it is. "Metal" kids will always hate how "Hardcore" kids dance and "Hardcore" kids will always make fun of how "Metal" kids dance. "Metal" kids will hate "Hardcore" kids and "Hardcore" kids will hate "Metal" kids. That is how it has been since metal and hardcore was created. Accept it. Nothing is going to change.
The majority of metal kids may believe this, but I sure as hell don't. I only hate how the hardcore dancing for this metalcore style inflicts direct and intentional damage on unsuspecting people. If they did their thing in the middle of the floor, then fine, I don't have to deal with it. But I saw this kid start spin kicking when he knew for a fact that someone was right behind him. Not only that, but there were people at the bar sitting down with their backs turned, and these kids jumped on them, through other people, and punched them in the head. That's my problem with these kids.
