So the drumset thing there probablu wasn't a hole lot that could be done about that.
actually there's an entirely separate room where the equiptment is usually kept. i've been to a ton of shows at bills bar and i've never seen anyone just plop their drumset down in the middle of the floor like that. bills arguably is pretty tight on space, i'll give you that. but equiptment placement has never really been an issue at bills before, it doesn't make sense that all of a sudden the only place you can leave your gear is right in the middle of the floor where kids are trying to dance. i don't know what happened there, maybe a lack of communication between the bands and the club staff. but people went out of their way to tell them they should move their stuff.....because it would probably get knocked over.....then surprise surprise it did.
That was when the place next door was Karma Club and even then they didn't let you put the gear in there all the time. Now you can't at all becuase its Jack Ivory's. Ususally the drums get put to the side up front. Thats were our kit was on the left next to the doors. If his was literally in the middle of the floor than I guess that sucks for him but the other place is on the right of the stage on the wall. Either way the gear for most shows there is right up front.
