He is a SICK musician it's like an 8 member band with violins and cello, horns and 2 drum sections. if you want to hear his many projects go to www.AndyHappel.com He is just amazing live. |

Nah I'm kidding - I actually had to see a performance at some church in Nashua, NH featuring a chorus and brass quintet from the Nashua Symphony Orchestra - it was for a music appreciation class I was taking. Anyway, I thought it was going to be a total snooze fest, but it actually wasn't that bad, they did a really good job. That didn't stop me from leaving during intermission though, hahaha! |

__________________________________ [Mar 5,2007 7:02pm - dyingmuse ""] AN: Indeed, that venue is awesome! Great food, amazing sound, and the atmospher is just stellar! Rev: He actually played abot 4 or 5 songs from Gravity. And stuff from his solo bluerrass/celtic crossover album he put out last year and a bunch of his solo stuff. Again he blew me the fuck away, he is a Shredding mother fucker, and I truly loved every minute of it! Best musician hands down. Ryan: Yeah must stuff like that seems like it will suck, but when you hear tasteful music no matter what genre it is, it can be both enlightening and inspiring. I love brass players, not enough IMHO. Ans jesus, I love chorus! |
