I have a NVidia fx5500 that has a s-video output. If I rent a projection tv that has s-video inputs, is it as simple as hooking them up and changing my display properties from my dell to s-video? or is there a chance that this won't work and I'll run into problems? |

You can get an adapter or something and plug into the TV's HDMI port. Then you could at leaset get the picture at 720p... wait.. I don't have a HDTV so I'm not used to the ridiculous picture quality. 720p will be killer compared to what I'm used to. |

Granted i only have a 19inch regular def TV but i don't have any problems with it. If you're only doing this as a one time thing and super high quality isnt a big deal then i wouldnt go out and buy any massive converter boxes or anything. Just go with s-video. it'll look find if all you're doing is a picture slideshow kind of thing. |
