Possibly a pass for the next namn convention.
What he said ^^^ plus it's a hell of a lot easier to go through the repair/replacement process, they keep in contact with opportunities for drummers like conventions, clinics, etc.. I wanted the cymbals, and didn't plan on sending an endorsement application, but I was convinced by one of their reps to send one because I play in three bands who all play somewhat regularly and have a decent following locally, one of whom is signed, so every little bit would help me. mOe said:
what do the cymbals sound like compared to the big three companies?
Surprisingly good. I like the innovative series they're coming up with, but the stuff I got replaced my old gear without a problem. There's definitely a difference in sound, but they take a beating and sound pretty huge live. hungtableed said:
wow. Nice rig man, I'd love just 5 mins on a set like that.
Come on down to my next show and I'll let you sit in and do my sound check for me, and give them a quick try. Oh, and Seth, thanks a lot bro! I'm not counting on anything, I'm not playing in Mastodon or Lamb of God or anything, but you never know.
