Please Read some un-biased history on the crusades instead of intaking all your information from Graveland cd booklets and the writings of Varg Vikernes (not assuming that you are) . I cannot believe that you would actually think that Any killings committed by those who claimed to be believers were actually doing Godīs work. It is totally contradictory to sound Christian teachings. Your failure to see this, draig goch, amazes me. The United States is a secular nation. Many people who say they are Christians are what you call de-facto or "non-practicing" Christians. This is basically as good as nothing. Watch the news Channel for a moment. Look at Americaīs problems for a moment. This is an indication of errors. Scripture states that these errors (drugs, killings, robbery, rape, pedophilia) would not be committed if one would ahdere to Christian doctrine. Hence, a "Christian nation" would not commmit such errors, at least not in a grand scale. A priest or pastor who is convicted of mass (no pun intended) pedophilia is NOT representative of a Christian. Have you thought of this for just one moment? Given the plethora of crimes and wrongs in American society, It can easily be concluded that this is not a Christian nation. Heck, a great number of Christian evangelical "leaders" are dolts that are promoting their own selfish causes. I donīt belong to their circle. I have been a Christian for 10 years and have been actively involved in many metal scenes for about 15 years with little problems. Iīm just promoting my project and seeking musical feedback. I didnīt want to get into any ideological discussions but I am doing so now because assumptions and questions arose. People have assumed the following about me in many nations: 1. I donīt know what black metal is 2. I am out to disrespect black metallers and anger people 3. I am out to convert people 4. I am a weak sheep 5. I was somehow born with this "religion" and am mindlessly living my life inside a Christian bubble. There are reasons why I am the way I am and why I do what I do. If you make assumptions such as these, it will hinder your ability to get to know people better. If you can muster this kind of courage to approach people in a civil way, it will greatly increase your chances of being successful in life. As for the Gospel music question, it emerged in the early 1900s mainly by African-Americans. If we can increase our maturity levels here, maybe I can get some musical feedback.
