Bassist wanted for new hard rock/metal band[views:3163][posts:2]__________________________________ [Dec 10,2003 6:50am - Sinistas ""] Howdy, This is Scott, webmaster of 665.org Metal Hosting and guitarist of Dreaded Silence (not that either of those will mean a lot to you). Anyways, I'm restarting an old project of mine and am looking for a bassist to round out the band (we've got a drummer, vocalist, and I'm playing guitar). Our influences in general are pretty diverse, and we dig all sorts of metal, but we're going in more of a hard rock direction for this; our inspiration is stuff in the vein of A Perfect Circle, Passenger, Green Carnation, Ours, with the heavier sort of stuff being on the border of Youth-era Megadeth and Gothenburg-style metal. Our vocalist plays bass in my other band and (I'm guessing) will be writing a good chunk of stuff, but the ability to come up with cool parts is definitely a must.
