Fuck Logging In said:
Sorry we tried something new and not something rehashed like all you sheep metal people do. you just fallow each like sheep and listen to bands that all sound the same and do the same blast beats and same pig vocals...and you call us unoriginal? So come down and think for yourselves. If you can.
Well, see, that's where the rules of generalization apply. Saying that some bands are unoriginal rehashes of other bands' styles? Sure, it could apply. I can think of dozens of metal bands, not just on RTTP, who would fit this category. However, you've also got dozens more bands on RTTP who are very unique and original. Even a few that play the very style of music your own band does, and do it a lot better. There's the biggest problem with you retards. You lumped every band on this board together, and tried to talk shit about originality. Pretty hard to make all encompassing statements like that, considering you're talking about literally HUNDREDS of bands. Meanwhile, there's just ONE mr. Ect, or Astyhole, or whatever you call yourselves now. And unfortunately, it's pretty easy to pigeon hole your own band as unoriginal crap. You guys sucked when it was Changing Skin playing your style. They were a big Jaeger band too! Got them pretty far. Meanwhile, while you brag about your rock stardom, and sell CD's on consignment in Newbury Comics, you're here talking shit to some legitimate bands with REAL endorsements, and actual WORLD WIDE recording contracts. Can you see, yet, why you're coming across as a little shit-nose to all these people? Have fun at your last show. It's always bittersweet, and I feel bad even for the shitty bands when they break up. Losing a musical outlet can be pretty demoralizing for most people. Hopefully you'll gain some perspective and maturity before your next big project.
