LOL at Roger Clemons life falling apart!! LOLZ![views:3744][posts:22]_____________________________________ [Jan 7,2008 8:02pm - SkinSandwich ""] Did you see the press conference he had? he was a total cunt to everyone. He was tripping over his words, and getting wicked pissed at the media. At one point he got angry about the millions he was spending for his defense. ROUGH FUCKING LIFE ASSHOLE! What a self centered fucktard. He walked out, it was classic. His life is ruined and I love it, fucking doper. If you get the chance peep Sportscenter and catch the press conference. Even if you hate sports this is still great stuff! This will go down in the history of sports as a "classic" moment. A BIG :middlefinger: to Clemons! Not only does he get injections, he also gives them as you can see below. [img] |

I watched it, i couldn't believe how obvious it was that he was lying. Dude could barely talk, swallowing lumps in his throat the whole time, shifty eyes, vague responses. Fucking idiot i can't believe his lawyer didn't advise him against doing that |

Even if you don't care about baseball it's awesome to see someone like that get what they deserve actually, he left us for the blue jays. the jays traded him to NY. he's still a cunt, tho. |
___________________________________________ [Jan 8,2008 10:54pm - FuckIsMySignature ""] i really fucking hope that he somehow proves that he did not willingly take steriods. the guy has been my idol (despite all the yankees bullshit) since i was aware of the existence of baseball. this really sucks. luckily we currently have positive Boston role models for sports like Josh Beckett, Tom Brady, and Kevin Garnett who have more important shit going on. |
____________________________________ [Jan 9,2008 1:18pm - detazathoth ""] One of the things that jumped out at me during the hearings a few years ago was a question/statement by (senile) Jim Bunning in which he protested rather vociferously how wrong it was that athletes were getting better as they aged rather than falling apart physically. When put in these terms I don't see how it is that the public doesn't turn and say, "wait a minute, uh, can I have some", rather than continuing the inquisition. If Clemens used peptides to keep healthy and extend his career then I say good for him. He was talented before and he's talented now. The difference is that while other pitchers are crippled by his age he's still world class. However he got to this point, I say good for him. |
____________________________________ [Jan 9,2008 1:19pm - detazathoth ""] Maybe Clemens did use. Maybe he didn't. There is no proof. If the greatest pitcher in the game says he's clean - I am going to believe him until there is proof to the contrary. I don't think this issue can move forward until the owners admit to their part of the guilt. |

What about all the guys who could have been as good if not better than Clemens but didn't use steroids and got swept into the shadows? |

The difference is that while other pitchers are crippled by his age he's still world class. However he got to this point, I say good for him. the problem with that logic is that it forces every other player into a situation where they have also do steriods/HGH in order to be competitive enough for a level playing field. now i can understand maybe if they tried allowing it under the circumstances that it was regulated to the improvement of physical health after injury. i do see a benefit to that, but i dont see how they can regulate something they cant control in the first place. the steriods may have improved and elongated the careers of Bonds, Clemens, etc...but you dont know what kind of side effects they have probably been dealing with as a result of usage. it is simply unfair to subject all the other players to such an obvious hazard. |

______________________________________ [Jan 10,2008 11:01am - detazathoth ""] ...and you don't think most of MLB players haven't used? Test has been used in atheletics since the 30's, and use had been popularized in the 50's in all sports, it's naive to think that pro atheletes are all cleaned. However, the problem I have in. You have no clue if Clemens did anything. Not a lick of proof. None. You have the word of a guy that was threatened with prison if he didn't talk. Why do you believe Clemens took AAS? What proof do you have? You are just another villager in the witch hunt. If the Mitchell Report proves anything, it proves that one needs no fucking proof whatsoever to ruin a man's reputation with just the mention of his name. It's like Clemens said in the interview - the damage has been done, and regardless of how innocent he is, he will always be seen as a cheater. I hope he sues his former trainer and Mitchell. My $.02 |

Why would he lie about it? The dude was his friend he had nothing to gain by making false claims. They even played a phone conversation b/t him and clemens and not once did clemens say why did you lie about this.. I mean if someone forever ruined my reputation my FIRST question to them would be. What the fuck why did you make that shit up. Obviously yes alot of players do it and you could never prove how many did and how many didn't but that was the whole point of this, to clean up the sport. |
