[/QUOTE] i always thought that "myth" refered to studio use. it's MUCH easier to edit triggered sounds than real drums. For Gillis's drum sound on the unreleased Kevorkian's Angels album we used the real bass drum and a triggered track. the trigger fired a sample of his kick drum...it sounds devastating by edit i mean move into metronome timing instead of human timing, we kept the timing how he played it, but the range of sounds and shit you can do with computer based recording is fucking unreal.
