ATTN: BANDS RE: STUDIO AND LIVE MULTI-TRACK RECORDINGS

My studio just got a major upgrade and I'm looking for bands who need either a studio album or, preferably, a recorded live show. At this point I'm trying to build up a portfolio so the prices are going to be extremely reasonable for the time being. I am willing to travel. Provided a reasonable charge for gas and a couch to crash on if need be.

My studio is completely mobile and I can record anywhere from your basement to a full live venue. Anything from a multi-session studio album to a "practice tape" style session where I come to you set up a bunch of mics, hit record, and you play. It's a nice, quick, cheap way to get a quick demo.

I am also able to multi track a live show at any venue completely independent of the front of house sound system. This is something I would offer a very discounted rate to cause i need a couple of shows under my belt for advertising puropses and experience.

As I said before I just invested a lot of money into my studio so here's a list of gear:

Rack Server:
2.6Ghz AMD 64bit dual core processer

Front End:
MOTU 896HD firewire interface
Focusrite ISA 828 micpre's with A/D Card
Avalon Design 737-sp channel Strip
Toft Electronics EC-1 channel strip

Microphones:
Shure KSM 44 (2)
MAUDIO Sputnik tube mic (2)
Sennheiser e609 (2)
Sennheiser e409 (3)
Shure Beta 57A (2)
Neumann KMS 105
AKG D112
Shure SM7b
Audio Technica AT822 Stereo mic
MAUDIO Pulsar (matched pair)

Software:
Nuendo 3
Drumagog Replacement software with Steven Slate Samples
TONS of plug-ins!

Misc:
Avalon Design U5 Direct Box
32x8 Channel Whirlwind 'Concert 40' Transformer Split Snake with MASS connectors.

Amps/Cabinets:
Bogner Uberschall
Marshall JCM2000 TSL
Mesa Boogie Straight Cab w/ Black Shadows
Mesa Boogie Oversized Slant Cab w/ Vintage 30's

You can contact me in this thread, PM on this site or at RogueMobileAudio@yahoo.com. I'm not going to post my phone number but will gladly give it to you through email.

I can provide samples of my most recent work through email if you don't mind mp3's, or i can get you a sample CD through mail or otherwise. Also, if you would like references as to what I am like to work with, there are a bunch of people on this board who can vouch for me. (PanzerBastard, Hivesmasher, Slugpuncher, Rampant Decay, Godless Rob, Larissa)

Thank You,
Eric Braunschweiger

I can vouch for this guy too. We both went to school together for recording, though a year apart. He knows his stuff.

Eric has his shit together for sure, we recorded drums for the last Hive Smasher full length in my rehearsal space with all of his gear and he did a killer job.

Probably the practice style demo tape style by the way. But record the vocals separate.

How do you like the KSM 44s? I've been looking at those as an alternative to AKG 414s since new 414s are shitty and vintage ones are too expensive.

I love my 414xl, I would like to use them as drum overheads when I actually can afford to buy another one.

I guess shitty was bit harsh. They're good mics, but they just don't hold up to the old 414s with the original brass C12 capsule.
