A very good show and I was happy to see all of the bands. All of the bands had outstanding tone. If people want to know what their instruments should sound like, they need to see any one of these bands live. The venue was really cool too and I hope they can keep doing shows here, kind of like a Mass Art north. I never heard of Magna Mater before going to this show and I was very impressed. Once they kicked in after their instrumental interlude I looked over at Mark and we had the same shit eating grin on our faces. Mast's vocals were kind of a downer and would probably work in a band more along the lines of Every Time I Die or Blacklisted. The music is too majestic, and I think more Isis-y vocals would work better. Astronomer was the heaviest, which is saying something because all of these bands shook the floors. Also, I'm partial to bands that throw in Hum riffs every now and then. And the Creed cover in question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcBzn7oGBeU compare to Kingsnake, lolz.
