well, nice words, but to me our performance was totally unacceptable. The first set wasn't as bad as the second, but the first was WAY worse than we normally play. And the second actually embarrassed me. I made a small handful of fuckups, nothing terrible, but much worse than i normally do. Our bass player/guitar player were AWFUL. They usually kill it, i don't know what happened, but i am seriously pissed off. They agree too, it's not like i am being too picky, they KNOW they played like children.... I don't know how they were as bad as they were, we usually will play 2hours of music with a couple mistakes total for the whole band.. my guitar player ALONE made about 2dozen that i heard, mostly just wrong chords, but he totally fucked the timing at least 5 times. And when the timing in TOOL is off, it sounds very bad. The drum solo section in 46+2.. I played it great.. but you couldn't tell because the guitar player completely lost the rhythm. I don't know what else to say, besides the fact that my music NAZI nature is gonna come out and brow beat these fucks into playing better. I will NOT play in a bad cover band. If they don't shape up, i will find other players. And i really do appreciate all of you that came out, it means a lot to know my friends will come support even with 48hours notice. I love you guys.
