As of right now it's looking likely they will play. 8 bands is what I do usually for shows, granted I know that's longer than a lot of shows, but like you said shows start later with 6 bands. It comes to the same thing timewise... over by 11:30ish, not bad at all. Like I said people can come whenever if they don't want to see the openers, hence why I posted set times. I meant it as I wouldn't do the show without them and if that's such a problem to anyone that I'm adding more bands then I meant it as a suggestion to come later. Obviously I'd rather people stay beginning to end, but that's not the case with how shows run, albeit how I'd like them to be. I was merely pointing out the obvious that nobody has to come the whole show if they don't care to see other bands. People can do whatever they want in regards to coming or not coming, but the show will go on and it will be a solid show. A lot of bands asked me to play this and a few were close personal friends so I gave them short opening sets rather than starting at 8.
