| ____________________________________ [Feb 19,2009 10:17am - dreadkill ""] ovechkin definitely could become a top 5 all-time player. gretzky seems to think sidney crosby is going to break all of his records, and although i think crosby is awesome, he won't break anything. when all is said and done, ovechkin will have the better career and may possibly threaten gretzky's goal record. lost in all the goal-scoring is the fact that ovechkin is a much more complete player than crosby. he can hit, and that aspect of his game goes unnoticed amid the eye-popping goals. i'd say he's the best overall player in hockey now and if he keeps it up, could definitely be top 5 all-time. |
