I saw a band years ago that played with another two piece (mahi mahi) and the bass player played very heavy, groovy stuff with a super distorted tone, and looped it live, then did a lead line over it with a different tone. He was able to continue evolving the sound to start and stop the loops during changes, it was really impressive and sounded great. I know that's a lot of work, but you could consider it.[/QUOTE]
